Felice Battiloro, an eclectic artist from Monza, has created an exclusive work for the Reale Mutua Monza Montevecchia Eco Trail, titled “Rallenta e amati” (“Slow down and love yourself”). The work portrays a female figure with veiled eyes, whose colours evoke water that, as it flows, turns obstacles into integral parts of the course — a metaphor for life, where events merge into our own journey.

Intended for the winners of the competition, the artwork enhances the race bib, turning it into a collector’s item and embodying the message that taking the time to love one another is essential — especially for couples.

In the artist Felice Battiloro’s own words: “I wanted to give the fastest couple a prize that invites reflection on how enjoying the moment and slowing down — especially for couples — is increasingly difficult, yet essential to caring for one another.”

According to the artist, the race is in fact the culmination of a journey born of the desire to take time together, building the right harmony in the shared pursuit of a common goal.
